During the elementary school, I used to attend a music school - I played flute for a year, then a clarinet for four years. My laziness :) prohibited me from further study. The fact is, that the older I am, the more I am interested in music.

What kind of music do I listen to? Rather more serious creations. I used to listen to Enigma and I liked the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber not so long ago. The past tense I used here doesn't mean I don't like their creation anymore. But from the moment I began to be interested in Japan and Japanese, I listen mainly to Japanese music.

First, I used to listen especially to Ranma 1/2 soundtracks (it's an anime), whose author is mainly Kenji Kawai. Nowadays, however, I turned to the work of author with pseudonym Joe Hisaishi, who composes primarily soundtracks to films. More about him is in the "Japanese" section.

Of course, I like to listen to a normal pop or rock too, but I'm not really keen on it. I don't like metal or hard rock music, I find it to offensive/rebellious/depresive. Styles like techno or house seem empty or with few ideas to me. Well, it is said: "More people, more flavours."

Even if only few people surrounding me could guess it, I have also some ambitions to compose music. Only time will tell, if I'll be succesful in this field..
